Result CHSE Odisha 12th arts commerce declared

The School and mass education minister Badri Narayan Patra has declared the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) Plus Two results for the Arts and Commerce stream on Council's official website:  http://orissaresults.nic.in/ or http://chseodisha.nic.in/ around 10:30 am.

The Council of Higher Secondary Education successfully conducted CHSE 12th Examination 2018 in the month of March for the academic year 2017-18. 

chse_logoThe Higher Secondary School Examination (HSE) CHSE Class 12th exams began on Mar 06 and ended on Mar 28. The CHSE HSE Class 12th examination, 2018 was organised by the Council of Higher Secondary Education. 

Current Year Statistics -

Around 2.84 lakh students have appeared for the Arts, Commerce examination this year that was held in 1,106 centres. Earlier, the Plus II Science result was declared last month, and 76.98 per cent students have cleared the examination successfully. A total of 19,561 students have obtained first division, 24,164 students got the second division, and 28,968 students secured third division.

The pass percentage (69.79) has dropped by 2 per cent while in Commerce, it has increased by 3 per cent (74.91 per cent) as compared to the last year. The overall pass percentage for Class 12 examination (Arts, Commerce and Science) stands at 71.47 per cent.

Arts Result - 

A total of 2,30,206 students had appeared for the exams, out of which a total of 1,58,378 have passed.

1st division holders: 19,993,

2nd division holders: 26,076,

3rd division holders: 1,12,143

Commerce stream Result - 

A total of 26,984 students had appeared for the exams, out of which a toal of 20,216 have totaled.

1st division holders: 4,006,

2nd division holders: 3,734,

3rd division holders: 12,470

District Wise Result - 

The district with the best performance in the Arts stream is Puri with a pass percentage of 79.87 per cent and Nabarangpur has recorded the least pass percentage of 47.58.

In Commerce, Nayagarh district has recorded the highest pass percentage with 95.59 per cent and Deogarh is last with a pass percentage of 45.07.

Important Points - 

  • Migration certificate will be available from June 19, 2018
  • Revaluation application should be submitted till June 25, 2018
  • Only one student in Arts stream and three students in Commerce scored above 90%.

Last Year Statistics - 

Last year, a total number of 3,80,707 students waited for Odisha Plus two Result. The overall pass percentage last year was 81.11%.  The girls had surpassed the boys with 82.36% over 80.29%.

According to a local media report, the pass percentage for Commerce stream was 71.43% and for Arts stream was 70.17%. The report also stated that the highest pass percentage recorded was 82.78% in Puri district. Least pass percentage was at Koraput division (48.08%).

2. Click on the 'Class 12 Exam Results'.

3. Enter your Class 12th roll number and other required details.

4. Submit the details and download your Council of Higher Secondary Education Class 12th 2018 exam results.

The 12th result can also be checked on the mobile app developed by the Council of Higher Secondary Education which could be downloaded from Google Play Store. Once downloaded, candidates can check their marks.

About CHSE - The Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha (CHSE) was established under Odisha Higher Secondary Education Act 1982. It functions from its Samantapur, Bhubaneswar campus popularly known as Prajnapitha.
