The post is declared on a temporary basis for a period of one year of a project it may be extendable by three years and the project entitled as"Linking Protected Areas Networks and Near Real Time “Rain Bird” locations with IBIN”. Educational Qualification

A candidate must possess a Master’s degree in Life Sciences/ Wildlife Science /Zoology/ Botany/ Forestry / Ecology / Environmental Sciences/Geo-informatics and the postgraduate diploma in RS & GIS with 60% aggregated marks and above from a recognized university. There is also preferable if a candidate has a one year of experience in the relevant trade. It is desirable for the candidates to have a knowledge of Spatial analysis using Remote Sensing and GIS tools and working experience in mist netting, handling of birds and movement data analysis.

Selection Process

Selection of the eligible candidate is revealed on the official website after the Written test or Interview of the Candidates present on May 24, 2018. It is necessary for the candidate to have shown all the original documents/certificates must be produced at the time of registration for necessary verification.
