The Chairman and Managing Director are the Chief Executive of the Company and accountable to its Board of Directors and Government/Shareholders. He/She is responsible for the efficient functioning of the company, and for achieving its corporate objectives and performance parameters.

The appointment shall be for a period of five years from the date of joining or up to the date of superannuation or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Educational Qualification

The applicant should be a graduate with a good academic record from a recognised University/Institution. Persons with Technical/MBA qualifications will have added advantage.

EXPERIENCE: The applicant should possess adequate experience at a senior level in an organisation of repute. Persons with experience in Finance/ Marketing/ Production will have added advantage. Experience in Power Sector is desirable.

Selection Process

Selection will be done on the basis of Written test/ Interview. Written Test will be conducted if the number of applicants is more.
