  • The candidates must be a citizen of India.
  •  He/She must be able to read, write and speak Odia fluently, and must have a. Passed Middle School Examination with Odia as a language subject.
  • Passed HSC or equivalent Examination with Odia as the medium of examination in a non-language subject.
  • Passed in Odia as a language subject in the final examination of class-VII from a school or educational institution recognized by the Government of Odisha or the Central Government.
  • Passed a test in Odia in Middle English School Standard conducted by the School and Mass Education Department of the Govt. of Odisha

Selection Process

The Candidates Selection Process is depended upon the Computer-Based Test and then Personal Interview.

Computer Based Test that is Comprising of  120 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) divided into two parts and The candidates shall secure 01 marks for each correct answer & there will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. The duration of the CBT will be 02 hours i.e.

Part-I: 40 questions from General Aptitude- Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, English, General Awareness etc.

Part-II: 80 questions from subject knowledge in the respective discipline.

The merit list will be released on the basis of performance in the CBT and Personal Interview.

How to apply

Application fee:- Rs.750/- and The Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste {SC)/ Scheduled Tribe {ST) of Odisha only, PWD candidates are exempted from application fee.

Mode of Payment:- The two modes Online or Offline is described as:-

  • For online payment mode through State Bank Collect (Through Debit I Credit Card / Net Banking):- Choose any Payment Mode and then After completing the On-line payment, she/he must take a hard copy of the fee Receipt.
  • For Off-line payment'mode by SBI Bank Challan: The applicant shall print the challan format in an online application and submit the Challan in any SBI branch. The candidate shall bear the transaction charges if any charged by the SBI. The candidate has to upload the scanned copy of the fee receipt while uploading the documents.

1) Go to the official website i.e.http://www.ohpcltd.com/. Then click on the Career Tab and Select the Current Openings Option. Choose the relevant Department And Start Registration. Click on the Link of Apply Online Here.

Step 2:-Registration/Login:- Candidate have to register themselves by entering Username and password of your own Choice.

Step 3:- Personal and Educational Details:- The candidate must write his/ her name, date of birth, father’s name strictly as given in the Matriculation/ 10th Certificate. And all the mandatory columns of the application forms like address, Phone number, and Email and also educational details like marks from the matriculation to onwards with the passing year and percentage etc.

  • Step 4:- Uploading the Documents List Online there:- A Scanned Copy of Colour Passport size photograph of the Applicant in (.jpg or .png) format having a size less than 25KB to 50KB and 200x300 pixels.
  • Signature of the Candidate In Black Ink in (.jpg or .png) format having a size less than 1OKB to 25 KB and 140x60 pixels.
  • Your Caste Certificate, if you belong to SC/ST /SEBC category.
  • Physically Handicapped (PH) Certificate, if applicable.
  • Ex-Serviceman Certificate, if applicable.
  • 10th Pass Certificate.
  • Diploma/ degree certificate.
  • Diploma/ Degree Mark Sheet.
  •  Scanned copy of the application fee receipt/ challan.

Step 5:-Payment & Final Submission:- Candidate is requested to Choose their Payment Mode and pay their Application fee.

Step 6:-Generation & Printing of Registration Slip:- Candidate is also advised to keep a printout of the duly filled application form and the Registration Slip with himself/ herself for future requirement/ reference.
