Educational Qualification

The minimum educational details and experience that are required for the posts are described as:-

1 Sub Officer-B SSC or equivalent + Sub Officers’ Course from National Fire Service College OR from CISF Fire Training Centre with SSC or equivalent + Sub Officers’ Course from National Fire Service College OR from CISF Fire Training Centre.
2 Leading Fireman-A S.S.C. or equivalent Experience as a Fireman in a well-established Fire Service Organization and with 8 years of relevant experience in well-established Fire Service Organization as Fireman/DCO.
3 DPOF-A HSC(10+2) (Science with Chemistry) or equivalent with minimum 50% marks + valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License with minimum 01-year driving experience + Certificate course in Firefighting equipment such as Fire extinguishers etc. from the State Fire Training Centers.
4 Assistant Grade-1(HR) A Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Commerce or Arts with minimum 50% marks.
5 Assistant Grade-1(F&A) A Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce with minimum 50% marks.
6 Assistant Grade-1(C&MM) A Bachelor’s Degree in Science (with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics) OR Commerce with minimum 50% marks.
7 Steno Grade-1 A Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with minimum 50% marks.
8 Nurse-A XII Standard & Diploma in Nursing & Midwifery (3 years course) or B.Sc.(Nursing) and Nursing Certificate with 3 years’ experience in Hospital
9 Pharmacist-B HSC (10+2) + 2 years Diploma in Pharmacy + 6 months Training in Pharmacy + Registration as a Pharmacist with Central or State Pharmacy Council

Selection Process

The Selection process for the different posts are described as:-

Selection Process for the posts of Sub Officer, Leading Fireman & DPOF/ Nurse & Pharmacist at NAPS:- The Process is divided into three Stages and they are:-

Stage-1-Preliminary Test (1 Hour Duration):- The test consist of 50 multiple choice questions (Choice of four answers) of 01 (one) hour duration and 03 (Three) marks to be awarded for each correct answer and 01 (one) mark to be deducted for each incorrect answer.

Stage-2 –Advanced Test:- The Test will be of 02 (two) hours duration and Consist of 50 Multiple choice questions (Choice of four answers) with 03 (Three) marks to be awarded for each correct answer and 01 (one) mark to be deducted for each incorrect answer.

Stage-3:-Skill Test:- The number of candidates shortlisted for Skill Test would depend upon the number of candidates qualifying for Stage-2 but will not exceed 4-5 times the number of vacancies for each post.

Details of Physical Assessment/Endurance Test for Sub Officer-B, Leading Fireman-A&Driver cum Pump Operator Cum Fireman-A:-

Should be able to carry a person of approximately his own weight by the fireman’s lift method over 25 meters. 3 min. 4 min. 5 min.
Should be able to do push-ups 20 continuously 15 continuously 12 continuously
Should be able to run 1.6 km. in 10 min. 12 min. 14 min.

For the posts of Asst Gr & Stenographers:- The Process is divided into three Stages and they are:-

Written Examination:- Stage-1-Preliminary Test (1 Hour Duration) and Stage-2-Advanced Test (2 Hours Duration).

Stage-1-Preliminary Test (1 Hour Duration):- The test consist of 50 multiple choice question. The Test will be of 01 (one) hour duration for a maximum 150 marks. And 03 (Three) marks to be awarded for each correct answer and 01 (one) mark to be deducted for each incorrect answer.

How to apply

The Candidate should follow the following steps and they are:-

1. Candidates need to open the Official Website of NPCIL:https://npcilcareers.co.in. Click on Apply => Online Registration from the top / left for registration.
2. The applicant is required to furnish all basic information such as Name, Date of Birth, Category, Email, Mobile number, PWD details, experience details, percentage marks, email address, contact mobile number etc and other exemption details, if applicable.
3. The applicant is required to activate the account by clicking on the activation link received through email after completing registration in Step 1.
4. On successful completion of this activation, candidates can log in using their login id and password to apply online.
5. A candidate is required to fill in all the details of his / her Educational Qualifications and then click on "Save and Proceed to Next Step" and then enter the details of Work Experience if any etc.
6. Candidate should scan his / her photograph in JPG format, of size not more than 50KB and a minimum of 125 x 165 pixels (4.4 x 5.8 in cm) in dimensions and signature in JPG format of size not more than 20KB and a minimum of 125 x 80 pixels (4.4 x 2.9 cm) in dimensions . And Upload in the given area.
7. Then Candidate should verify their all details and then  "Submit Application".
8. Take a print out of the Application form for future use.
