Mumbai Port Trust announced a notification for the posts of Trade Apprentice in Mumbai. Total 139 posts are declared by Port Trust for ITI candidates. The period of training for the posts is declared as 1-year.The last date to apply for the posts is May 17, 2018.

Mumbai Port Trustमुंबई पोर्ट ट्रस्ट ने मुंबई में ट्रेड अपरेंटिस के पदों के लिए अधिसूचना की घोषणा की। आईटीआई उम्मीदवारों के लिए पोर्ट ट्रस्ट द्वारा कुल 13 9 पद घोषित किए गए हैं। पदों के लिए प्रशिक्षण की अवधि 1 वर्ष के रूप में घोषित की जाती है। पदों के लिए आवेदन करने की आखिरी तारीख 17 मई, 2018 है।

Mumbai Port Trust is a port which lies midway on the West coast of India, on the natural deep-water harbour of Mumbai, Maharashtra.The harbour opens to the south to the Arabian Sea. Mumbai Harbour has been used by ships and boats for centuries. It was used by the Maratha Navy, as well as the British and Portuguese colonial navies.

Interested Candidates have a Passed certification of  National Trade Examination in the trade of Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA) in I.T.I.

Selection Process

The selection of an eligible candidate for an apprenticeship will be on merit based on the percentage of marks obtained by the candidates in the trade of Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA).The merit list will be displayed on notice board at the office of the Apprentice Training Manager (ATC), Mb.P.T. Workshops’, Mazgaon, Mumbai - 400 010 and also available on official website.The listed candidates in merit list shall be called for verification of all original documents and selection procedure at ATC office. The date of reporting for verification of documents and selection procedure will be displayed on notice board at the office of the ATC and also uploaded on Mb.P.T.'s website.The selected candidate will have to come along with a Medical Examination and produce fitness certificate from the Port Trust Hospital.Applicants shall be required to produce following original documents for verification
1. Apprentice Registration form
2. S. S. C. Mark sheet / Board Certificate
3. I. T. I. Mark sheet
4. Leaving Certificate
5. PAN card
6. AADHAR card
7. Passport size photos.
8. Caste Certificate.
9. Marriage Certificate / Gazetted copy.
10. Physical Handicap Certificate.

How to apply

Application fee:-Rs.20/- and it will be accepted in the form of crossed Indian Postal Order / Demand Draft / Banker’s Cheque/ Pay Order payable at Mumbai in favor of “The Board of Trustees of the Port of Mumbai”. Alternatively, cost of the application form can be paid by NEFT, however, the candidates will have to attach necessary receipt with the offline submitted form. Applicants are required to be registered online through NCVT MIS website: applicants are required to print apprentice registration form and note down registration number.Applicants are required to fill application form in all respect and submit the filled up form by hand delivery or by post, so as to reach to Apprentice Training Centre, first floor, MbPT’s Workshops, N. V. Nakhwa Marg, Mazgaon (East), Mumbai – 400010 along with required documents, apprentice registration form, fees of application form etc. on and before due date.
