Mahanadi Coalfields Limited was carved out of South Eastern Coalfields Limited in 1992 with its headquarters at Sambalpur. It has its coal mines spread across Odisha. It has total seven open cast mines and three underground mines under its fold. Director (Personnel) is a member of Board of Directors and reports to the Chairman and Managing Director. He/She is overall in-charge of coordinating and implementing personnel and industrial relations policies, management functions, administrative control etc. in the organisation.

The appointment shall be for a period of five years from the date of joining or upto the date of superannuation or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Educational Qualification

The applicant should be a graduate from a recognized University/Institute with a good academic record. The Post Graduate Diploma or Degree in Personnel Management/Human Resource Management or Masters in Business Administration(MBA)/ Post Graduate Diploma/ Programme in Management(PGDM/ PGPM) from a recognized University/Institution, will be desirable.

EXPERIENCE: The applicant should have at least five years of cumulative experience during the last ten years in various aspects of HR/ Personnel Management/ Industrial Relations in an organization of repute.

Selection Process

Selection will be done on the basis of Written test/ Interview. Written Test will be conducted if the number of applicants is more.
