Jharkhand High Court announced a notification for the posts of Stenographer for Civil Courts & Family Courts in the state of Jharkhand. Total 145 posts are declared by High Court. Details of the posts are given in (Advertisement No. 01 /Admin. Misc./ 2018). The Online applications submission will be started on May 10, 2018, and end on May 25, 2018.

High Court Jharkahndझारखंड उच्च न्यायालय ने झारखंड राज्य में सिविल कोर्ट और फैमिली कोर्ट के लिए आशुलिपिक पदों के लिए अधिसूचना की घोषणा की। उच्च न्यायालय द्वारा कुल 145 पद घोषित किए गए हैं। पदों का विवरण दिया गया है (विज्ञापन संख्या 01 / व्यवस्थापक मिस्त्री / 2018)। ऑनलाइन आवेदन सबमिशन 10 मई, 2018 को शुरू किया जाएगा, और 25 मई, 2018 को समाप्त होगा।

The Jharkhand High Court ( झारखंड उच्च न्यायालय) is one of the newest High Courts in India. It was established in 2000 under the Bihar Recognization Act, 2000, after the state of Jharkhand was carved out of the state of Bihar. The court has jurisdiction over Jharkhand state. The seat of the court is at Ranchi, the administrative capital of the state. The court has a sanctioned judge strength of 20.

Educational Qualification

Interested Candidates must be a Graduated from a recognized University with at least 55% marks from matric to onwards, having proficiency in English shorthand and in typing. The speed of shorthand would be 100 WPM (words per minute) and typing would be 40 WPM (words per minute) in English on a computer with maximum permissible mistakes up to 10%. Candidates must have a fine command on Computer and have a knowledge of Computer Application.

Pay Scale for the post of English Stenographers for Civil Courts:- Rs.25,500/- to Rs. 81,100/- and Pay scale for the post of English Stenographers for Family Courts:-Rs. 19,900/- to Rs. 63,200/-.

Selection Process

The selection procedure depends on the Stenography and Typing Test of the candidates. Only those candidates who will qualify for the Stenography and Typing Test(Typing Test shall be taken on Computer) would be allowed to appear in the Personality Test/Viva voce test. Merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the Stenography and Typing Test and the Personality Test/Viva voce test.

Note:- The information regarding the schedule of the Stenography and Typing Test, venue and date for downloading of Admit cards will be announced later on, on the website of the High Court.

How to apply

Examination fee:- Rs.500/- for General and OBC candidates and Rs.200/- for SC/ST Candidates. That can be paid by Debit Card/Credit Card/ Net Banking.

Step 1:- Candidate fill your Personal Information:- The candidate must write his/ her name, date of birth, father’s name strictly as given in the Matriculation/ 10th Certificate. Candidate should be advised to enter only correct information. And all the mandatory columns of the application forms like address, Phone number, and Email.

Step 2:- Candidate fill your Educational Details:- Candidate should enter their educational details from matriculation to onwards with the passing year and percentage etc. Candidate should fill all the educational details and also if any other.

Step 3:- Upload your Documents:-  Candidates should upload all their documents in the prescribed format or size:-

1.A scanned copy of the Matriculation Certificate in proof of date of Birth.

2. A scanned copy of Provisional/Original degree Certificate of Graduation.

3. A scanned copy of the caste certificate as per State Government’s norms showing the place of residence and issued by the District Magistrate/Deputy Commissioner or by competent authority verified and countersigned by the District Magistrate/Deputy Commissioner (in case of reserved category only).

4. A scanned copy of Stenography & Typing certificate issued by competent institutions.

5. Details regarding uploading of documents, all the scanned certificates of the applicants with size less than 2MB. 

6. Colour Passport size photograph of the Applicant in (.jpg or .png) format having a size less than 2MB and 200x300 pixels.

7.Signature of the Candidate In Black Ink in (.jpg or .png) format having a size less than 2MB and 140x60 pixels.

Step 4:- Pay your Examination Fee:-Candidate is now on the last step of the Application. Candidate should pay your fee through Debit Card/Credit Card and Net Banking with any mode. Candidates are advised to retain with themselves the UTR (Unique Transaction Reference) number which will be generated on payment of prescribed examination fee. And Candidate is also advised to keep a printout of the duly filled application with himself/ herself for future requirement/ reference.
