ITBP Recruitment or Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force Invites online applications from eligible Indian citizens (Male & Female) to fill up the following vacant posts of Constable (Telecom), Sub Inspector (Hindi Translator) Group-'C (non-gazetted and non-ministerial). The total of 220 posts is declared by the Police Force for ITBP Recruitment. The posts are declared on a temporary basis. The last date to apply for the ITBP Recruitment posts is 27 November 2018.

Candidates shall be required to serve in the Force for a minimum period of 10 years. The recruitment will comprise of following phases -
1) PHYSICAL EFFICIENCY TEST (PET) - The candidates will report at the venue on given date and time with a clear & legible print out of their online admit card and online application form for PET. The events of the PET are given above.
2) PHYSICAL STANDARD TEST (PST) - Candidates who qualify the PET will be screened for Height, Chest and Weight measurements. Those who do not meet the required physical measurements as applicable will be eliminated at this stage.
3) WRITTEN TEST - The candidates who qualify PET & PST will have to appear in written examination. Fresh admit cards to the candidates, who qualify for the written test will be issued online by mentioning the date & venue of the written test. The candidates are required to appear for the written test with a clear and legible print out of their online admit card. A list of candidates qualified for written test will also be uploaded on ITBP website i.e. www.recruitment.itbpolice.nic.in. The candidates will be required to pass the following written examination with at least 50% marks in each written paper.

i) Paper – I of written test will consist of OMR based objective type multiple choice questions to be answered using a Blue or Black Ball pen only; or Computer-based objective type multiple choice questions at the discretion of ITBP.
ii) Paper-II will be the subjective professional test of translation (English to Hindi and Hindi to English) using a Blue/Black ball pen only or Computer-based at the discretion of ITBP.
iii) The question paper will be set bilingually in Hindi and English.
iv) Due to any wrong entry of roll number, name, question booklet number of question paper series in the OMR sheet or Computer will disqualify the candidate and his answers will not be evaluated. The concerned candidates will be solely responsible for such mistake on their part.
v) Candidates are not permitted to use Mobile phone, calculators, Smart-Watch or any other electronic/electrical device. Candidates, therefore, must not bring these devices inside the examination premises.
MERIT LIST - After completion of the written test, Merit lists will be drawn on the basis of total marks obtained by the candidates in the written examination. The candidates shall be shortlisted for Detailed Medical Examination (DME) as per the vacancies on the basis of this merit.
VERIFICATION OF ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS -
Testimonials of the candidates will be checked before the Detailed Medical Examination (DME), the candidates will be required to produce the original documents related to Educational and Professional qualifications, date of birth etc. It is important that the candidates applying for this recruitment check their eligibility, to avoid disappointment at later stage. Original documents will be returned on the spot after verification and self-attested copies of certificates will be retained with the application. Original copy of the following documents will be required for verification:-
(i) Educational Certificate(s) clearly showing the subjects studied by the candidate and the medium of instruction at Graduation and Post-Graduation level;
(ii) Date of birth Certificate as in Matriculation or 10th Class Certificate;
(iii) Professional/Experience Certificate, if any;
(iv) Domicile Certificate issued by local revenue authorities or PAN Card or Aadhar Card or Driving License or Voter ID Card or Passport for verification of citizenship. In case of West Pakistani Refugees settled in J&K, they are required to produce Certificate in the format attached as Annexure-‘III’ issued by the Sarpanch/Numberdar of a candidate’s village to the effect that the person belonged to the West Pakistani Refugees Category, along with a copy of Electoral Roll showing the name of the candidate in the voter list for elections to the Parliamentary Constituency;
(v) One passport size photograph same as submitted with online application form;
(vi) Certificate as per Annexure ‘II’ for claiming relaxation in height & chest (if applicable).
DETAILED MEDICAL EXAMINATION (DME) - Candidates shortlisted in order of merit as per the number of vacancies will be put through DME to assess their fitness as per medical policy issued by MHA.
REVIEW MEDICAL EXAMINATION (RME) -
(i) In case candidates declared unfit in the detailed medical examination are not satisfied with the findings of the Medical Officer, they may submit an application for his/her re-medical examination with a duly filled Medical Fitness certificate (Proforma at Annexure-IV) within 15 days from the date of his/her rejection in DME.
(ii) The appeal will also not be taken into consideration unless it contains Medical Re-Examination Fee of Rs. 25/- in form of Indian Postal Order and Rejection Slip (original) issued by the Presiding Officer. RME fee in the form of IPO should be prepared in the name of INSPECTOR GENERAL (NE) FRONTIER, ITB POLICE FORCE.
