High Court of Chhatisgarh announced a notification for the posts of the District Judges in Bilaspur. Total 10 posts are declared by the Court. The details of the posts are given in the Adv. No. 2 /S & A Cell/2018. The last date to apply for the posts is June 15, 2018. And the date of the Written Exam is declared as August 26, 2018, on Sunday.

The Chhattisgarh High Court is one of the High Courts in India located at village Bodri, Bilaspur with jurisdiction over the state of Chhatisgarh. It was established on 1 November 2000 with the creation of the new state of Chhattisgarh upon the reorganization of the state of Madhya Pradesh The High Court of Bilaspur is the 19th High Court of India.छत्तीसगढ़ उच्च न्यायालय छत्तीसगढ़ राज्य के अधिकार क्षेत्र के साथ बिलासपुर, बिलासपुर गांव में स्थित भारत के उच्च न्यायालयों में से एक है। यह मध्य प्रदेश राज्य के पुनर्गठन पर छत्तीसगढ़ के नए राज्य के निर्माण के साथ 1 नवंबर 2000 को स्थापित किया गया था। बिलासपुर का उच्च न्यायालय भारत का 1 9वीं उच्च न्यायालय है।

Selection Process

Selection of the Candidates is depended on the Two phases process, Candidates those who Qualifies the Written exam will be called for the Viva/Voice:-

Phase 1:- Written Examination:-The Main Written Examination shall consist of Two papers, Paper-I and Paper-II. Paper-I contains four sections each of having a number of 25 marks and should be done in 2 hours.

 Paper-II Consists of 100 marks and of 2 hours again these both papers are the Part of the Written Examination. Syllabus for the Paper-II contains:-

Syllabus Marks
Framing of Issues and writing of Judgment in Civil Cases. 40 Marks
The framing of charges and writing of Judgment in Criminal Cases. 40 Marks
Translation of Hindi to English  10 Marks
Translation of English to Hindi 10 Marks

 

Phase 2:- Viva-voce (Oral Interview) Test:-The basic objective of the Viva-voce Test is to assess the suitability of the Candidate for the cadre by judging the mental alertness, knowledge of the law, clear and logical exposition, balance of judgment. Candidate must have obtained a minimum of 40% Marks in the Viva-voce Test.

Note:- Final Selection of the candidates is depend on the Aggregate marks obtained in Written tests and viva voice tests. The final list of the candidates will be uploaded on the Official Website.

 

How to apply

Application fee:- Rs. 700/- for the candidates who are permanent residents of Chhattisgarh state belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe or Other Backward Classes as notified for the State of Chhattisgarh and Rs. 1000/- for all the candidates belonging to Unreserved Category and for all the candidates who are not the residents of Chhattisgarh state irrespective of their categories.

Challan form is available on the Official Website of High Court. Examination Fee is to be deposited only in the form of Challan with SBI branches through Core Banking Network all over India. Therefore, original copy of Challan must be attached to application form.

Interested Candidates can download the application form through the Official Website http://highcourt.cg.gov.in/ or it is given with the Notification of the posts. Candidate should download the application form on a4 size paper. The application form is duly filled in and signed along with Identity-Sheet & four identical and recent passport size self attested photographs with name and address of the applicant on the back of the photographs affixing one photograph on application form, one photograph on Identity-Sheet and two photographs to be stapled at the space provided in the application form and Two self addressed envelope (11” x 5”) stamped with postal stamps of Rs. 25/- each and should be wrapped in an envelope of Size(14'*10'') and prescribed with the words “Application for District Judge (Entry Level) Examination 2018 by direct recruitment and the Advt. No. 02 / S & A Cell/2018” that will be sent to the address before June 15, 2018:-
