BITS Admission Application End Tomorrow

BITSAT-Birla Institute of Technology began the Admission Application Form submission on May 1, 2018, and it's going to end tomorrow i.e. June 18, 2018. It is the most important call of student to get admission in one of the reputed institute such as BITS.

BITSBirla Institute of Technology & Science is an Indian Institute of higher education deemed university under Section 3 of the UGC Act 1956. The university has 15 academic departments and focuses primarily on undergraduate education in engineering and the sciences and on its management programme. The institute was established in its present form in 1964. During this period, the institute's transformation from a regional engineering college to a national university was backed by G.D.Birla. BITS has establicentersntres at Pilani, Goa, Hderabad, and Dubai.

BITSAT 2018 is to admit candidates to over 2000 seats for engineering courses offered in three campuses of the institute. Every year BITS conducts an aptitude test known as BITSAT i.e. Birla Institute of Technology & Science Aptitude Test. According to the marks obtained in the test, BITS proposes the admission to engineering undergraduate courses.

Every year counselling is commenced and always the students are in dilemma about the procedure and the schedule of counselling.BITS proposes cut off mark list according to which the aspirants fall into the criteria of eligibility. BITS is responsible for providing a tabular way for the engineering aspirants to get admitted in undergraduate courses of engineering. So here is the complete criteria, the procedure in a systematic way along with the schedule of BITS 2018 counselling.

Admission Eligibilty-

Candidates should have passed Class 12 examination from a recognised Board with the minimum aggregate of 75% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology and must possess scored more than 60% in each subject will be eligible for admission through BITSAT counselling 2018. Candidates should also have adequate proficiency in English.

              The procedure of BITS Counselling-

              • Registration

              This the most basic and primary step of BITS counselling. The registration is started on May 1, 2018, and it will continue till tomorrow i.e. June 18, 2018. At the time of registration, the candidates will be given unique ID and Password with should be kept safe for the future refernces.

              If you are one of the aspirants register for the counselling using the following steps-

              Steps to Register-


              Step 1 – Filling the Personal Details

              While registering for the counselling of BITSAT 2018, the candidates need to fill their personal details such as their name, mobile number, email ID and more. The candidates will not be able to make any changes after the details are submitted and confirmed.

              Step 2 – Submitting 12th Qualifying Examination Subject Wise Marks

              As per the eligibility criteria, the institute wants to reconfirm it from you about your eligibility status by this you need to submit the marks obtained in class 12th board exam.

              Step 3 – Selection of Colleges and Course according to preference

              This is the major and the most important step of registration. The selection of courses and colleges have to be done by the candidates according to their preference and according to the marks secured in BITSAT. The correct order of preference has to be selected since no changes will be permitted after the details are submitted.

              NOTE-The print out of the application form of BITSAT 2018 counselling session has to be sent along with the enclosures to the following address through registered post or speed post.

              • Fee Payment for BITS Counselling 2018

              The candidates will have to pay BITSAT 2018 counselling fee of Rs. 1000 through online mode i.e. net banking/credit card/debit card or offline mode i.e. challan as per your convenience. The cash payment can be done at all ICICI bank branches in India along with a specially generated Pay-in-slip/e-challan.

              • BITS 2018 Seat Allotment

              The first list of the allotted candidates will be released tentatively in the first week of July 2018. The seat allotment of BITSAT 2018 is also known as Iteration. The candidates will be able to check their allotment status online and those candidates who are not allotted will be listed out in the waitlist. The allotment of the candidates will be done based on their merit and preferences submitted in the registration process.

              Steps to check the result of Seat allotment

              1. Go to the official website i.e. Website.
              2. Enter your Unique ID and Password provided at the time of registration.
              3. Click on Submit.
              4. You can download your provisional seat allotment letter for future refernces.
              • Reporting at Allotted Institutes

              ​​​​It is the last and the final step. In this, the candidate has to report to the allotted college to get admitted and to get one's documents verified. Along with this, the candidate has to pay the tution fee also.

              Note- The candidates are supposed to check the official website regularly in order to get new updates by the authority.




              Direct Admissions for Board Toppers

              The top rankers of all central and state boards are also eligible for direct admissions irrespective of their BITSAT 2018 scores. These candidates should have obtained an aggregate of 75% marks in Physics. Chemistry and Mathematics with at least 60% marks in each of the subject.
